Terms & Conditions – Carolina Cotton Candy Corgis

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the sale and purchase of puppies from Carolina Cotton Candy Corgis (“Seller,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing a deposit or purchasing a puppy, the Buyer (“you,” “your”) agrees to the following terms:

1. Deposits & Payments

• A non-refundable deposit of $[Insert Amount] is required to reserve a puppy.

• Deposits may be transferred to a future litter at the Seller’s discretion but are not refundable under any circumstances, including Buyer cancellation.

• The remaining balance must be paid in full before the puppy is released.

• Accepted payment methods: [Insert accepted methods – e.g., cash, Venmo, PayPal Friends & Family, etc.].

2. Pricing & Fees

• The purchase price of each puppy is $[Insert Price].

• If a puppy is not picked up by 8 weeks of age, a boarding fee of $50 per week (or part thereof) will be added to the purchase price.

• Puppies not picked up within 10 weeks after 8 weeks of age may be considered abandoned, the sale may be canceled, and deposits and payments forfeited.

3. Pickup & Transportation

• Puppies must be picked up in person at [Insert Location] unless prior arrangements are made.

• If shipping or ground transport is requested, all transportation costs, health certificates, and related fees are the responsibility of the Buyer.

• Seller is not responsible for delays, accidents, or health issues caused by third-party transportation.

4. Health Guarantee

• All puppies will receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming prior to leaving our care.

• Seller guarantees that each puppy is in good health at the time of sale.

• Buyer must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup for a health exam.

• If the veterinarian finds a serious, life-threatening health issue (excluding parasites, minor conditions, or injuries caused after pickup), Buyer may return the puppy with a written report from the veterinarian for a replacement puppy of equal value (when available).

• No refunds will be given.

5. Buyer’s Responsibilities

• Buyer agrees to provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, exercise, training, and a safe environment for the puppy.

• Buyer understands that Seller does not guarantee adult size, weight, color, coat type, or temperament.

• Buyer agrees not to resell the puppy to pet stores, brokers, or puppy mills. If Buyer cannot keep the puppy, Seller must be notified and given the option to assist with rehoming.

6. Spay/Neuter Agreement [Optional if you sell pet-only puppies]

• Unless purchased with breeding rights (by written agreement), all puppies are sold as pet only and must be spayed or neutered by [Insert Age, e.g., 12 months].

• Proof of spay/neuter must be provided to Seller upon request.

7. Breeding Rights [If Applicable]

• Breeding rights are only granted if explicitly stated in the sales agreement.

• Puppies sold without breeding rights must not be bred. Violation of this condition may result in legal action.

8. Returns & Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable.

• Once a puppy leaves Seller’s care, no refunds will be given for any reason.

• If Buyer is unable to care for the puppy at any point, Seller must be notified and will assist in finding a suitable home. No refunds will be issued.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Seller is not responsible for any costs incurred after the puppy leaves our care, including veterinary bills, training, or damages caused by the puppy.

• Seller makes no guarantees regarding the puppy’s adult size, weight, coat, fertility, or suitability for show or breeding purposes (unless specifically sold with breeding rights).

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the county where Seller resides.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between Buyer and Seller and supersedes all prior discussions or representations. No modifications are valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.

1. Failure to Take Possession

The Buyer agrees to take possession of the puppy no later than the date on which the puppy reaches eight (8) weeks of age, unless alternative arrangements have been expressly agreed to in writing by the Seller. In the event that the Buyer fails to collect the puppy by such time, and no written arrangements have been made, the Seller shall have the right to terminate this Agreement, retain any deposits or payments made by the Buyer, and make the puppy available for sale to another party. Should the Seller, at their sole discretion, agree to extend the pickup date, the Buyer shall be responsible for any additional boarding, care, and related expenses at a rate of $50 per week, payable in advance.

Buyer’s Acknowledgment

By placing a deposit or purchasing a puppy from Carolina Cotton Candy Corgis, Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
